What should I wear for the vaccination?
You may opt for a t-shirt with a sleeve that can be easily folded up for the vaccination and a comfortable pair of pants. We will advise to bring along a jacket as it might get cold while waiting in the hall.

Do I need a permit in case of police roadblock?
No permit is necessary. You may show proof of your appointment on your MySejahtera app.

Can I choose the type of vaccine?
No, vaccine distributions are based on the decision made by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.

Should I still get vaccinated if I am tested positive?
If you are tested positive and having symptoms or still under isolation/quarantine period, you should NOT receive COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination should be deferred after isolation/quarantine and after recovery from COVID-19 infection. Please consult with your doctor and update MySejahtera status.

Which is the nearest carpark to the Vaccination Centre (Sunway Medical Centre Velocity)?
The main entrance of Sunway Medical Centre Velocity is located at Ground Floor, Main Lobby, thus the nearest carpark levels will be at Entrance E (Level B2).
If you or your loved one is wheelchair bound, you may drop off at the Main Entrance (Lobby) and park at the wheelchair-friendly parking bays located at Entrance E (Level B2).

Can I walk-in to receive the vaccination?
No, the COVID-19 vaccination is by appointment only. To receive yours, you may register via the MySejahtera App and await further updates from the app.

Can I choose SMCV as my preferred Vaccination Centre?
Your vaccination centre will be designated by the Ministry of Health upon registration via MySejahtera.

What time does the vaccination start?
Our operating hours is from 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. You may refer to your appointment time which will be notified via the MySejahtera App. You are advised to arrive at your designated Vaccination Centre at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time.

You are advised to arrive at your designated Vaccination Centre at least 30 minutes prior to your vaccination appointment time.

What will happen if I cannot make it on time for my appointment?
You are strongly advised to show up for your appointment. However, if you are unable to attend, you may launch the MySejahtera app, click on “Covid-19 Vaccination”, click on “Covid-19 Vaccine Information” and click on “Helpdesk” to get help. Or, you may also contact the registration hotline at 1800-888-828 for assistance.

How long is the vaccination process?
It may take up to 45 – 60 minutes per person as you will need to go through multiple checkpoints before and after vaccination.

What should I bring for the vaccination?
Your Identification Card and your phone with your MySejahtera App. If you have any medical conditions, kindly bring along your relevant medical letter or medical report from your doctor, as well as a list of your current medication.

Does Sunway Velocity Mall provide complimentary parking when I come to receive my vaccination?
Yes, we provide complimentary parking on the day you get vaccinated. Proceed to Sunway Pals Counter, Level M, Sunway Medical Centre Velocity from 9am – 5pm to validate your parking ticket.

How fast do I have to exit the mall after the complimentary parking confirmation?
The complimentary parking is applicable for the whole day. You may shop in the mall with ease before exiting

Are there any restrooms or washrooms available in SMCV?
Yes, restrooms are available at the every floor. Handicap-friendly toilet is located at Ground Floor (G Floor).

I would like to perform my prayers. Is there any surau nearby?
Yes, however due to the current situation, the surau will be closed until further notice.

Are there any amenities available for loan or rent?
Wheelchairs are available at all entrances of SMCV: Lobby (Level G), Accident & Emergency (Level G) and Level B2 (Car Park Entry E). Please request from our personnel at checkpoints for assistance if you need it.

What should I do if I experience a reaction after receiving the vaccination?
Should you face a reaction after the vaccination, please refer to the table below for immediate action:
